I am using Woocommerce 3.7.1. I had a customer place two orders. The first order was shipped to the customer. The second order was shipped to a second address. I received emails on both orders as the administrator, but the customer only received a confirmation/thank you email for the first order (spam and trash were checked).

These were back to back orders entered within minutes of each other. Shouldn’t the customer have gotten two confirmations? The ‘Ship to a different address’ form doesn’t ask for another email address.

    Thanks–

    Al

  • Yeah, they should have received both. I do wonder if the two nearly-identical emails looked suspicious spam-wise, causing the second one to be dropped. I know they checked their spam/trash, but sometimes it’s filtered before reaching the mail client.

    It might be worth:

ok. That’s a thought. The customer uses earthlink.net for email. I think they may be a bit more proactive than some. I appreciate the advice.

@gasparal That would be expected. What it asks for is an additional address for items to be shipped to, in case the customer does not want the products to be sent to the billing address. The email that is used for order notifications will be the one under the billing email field.

I see Dan left some good suggestions above already, and since the thread hasn’t been active for a while now, I’ll go ahead and close it. If you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
