    Hi,

Excellent plugin! A great alternative, the plugin we used before (something with 7 in the name ?? ) was not working anymore like it used to.

One thing we are wondering, does the form send out confirmation mails to the visitor that fills in the form as well?

Right now we get only 1 email in our inbox, to the admin of the website. We would love it that the customer also gets an email with their filled information summed up.

Since I can’t find any templates on this specifically, i’m not sure if this function even exists.

    Thank you,

    Regards,
    Mirna

  • Hi Mirna,

Great question. With WPForms Lite, it’s only possible to send out a single notification email — however, you can send that one email to as many different recipients as you’d like.

So in this case, a possible approach to consider could be shaping the email content towards the customer and then just adding them as a recipient. You can do this by opening the form builder and going to Settings > Notifications. Then in the Send To Email Address field, you can add the recipient with a Smart Tag (just click the Show Sm”art Tags option and then click the Email field that appears).

Also, be sure to add a comma in between and emails/smart tags in the list. The Send To Email Address field acts like a BCC field, so the recipients won’t be able to see one another.

And for more details (plus screenshots) on all of this, be sure to check out our tutorial on setting up notification emails.

One last thing — when you open that tutorial, you may notice a section named “Adding Multiple Form Notifications”. This is the part of the tutorial that’s only available with our paid plugin version. However, everything else mentioned in that doc is available in Lite.

    I hope this helps! ??
