    You might try a smtp mail plugin.

    Hello. I don’t believe the issue is with the Event Registration plugin. It could be very well your hosting company being blocked at the receiver end. For example, Hotmail will not accept emails from Godaddy (they blocked their IP). I had no issues sending emails to Yahoo or GMail.
    You might want to try the following plugin “Configure SMTP” mailing in WordPress, including support for sending e-mail via SSL/TLS (such as GMail) to test your mail server.
