    Hello,

I’ve noticed that if the new subscriber doesn’t confirm the subscription immediately, the Mailpoet is not adding him/her to the list afterwards.

What is the confirmation email expiration time?

    Thank you very much,

    Kinds regards,
    Anna

    Hi there Anna,

Just to confirm, on your site if subscribers don’t immediately confirm their subscription, then it won’t add them to the list? Even if they click on the Confirmation Email link later on (i.e. a few days later), they are not added to the list?

By default, they should be added to the list right away, but listed as “Unconfirmed”. Then, after they click the link in the confirmation email, their status should switch to “Subscribed”.

Please explain a bit more about the specific steps that are being taken: where are they signing up on your site (form? registration? WooCommerce checkout?)? Where do they appear initially? If they don’t immediately confirm, where do they appear?

If you try re-sending the confirmation email afterward, as described in the guide below, then are they added to the list and show as “Subscribed”?

Please let me know about the points above, or if you have any questions. Thank you!

Thank you so much for your reply. It looks like there was some delay in the adding to the list process and I didn’t check the unconfirmed list.

I checked everything again today and it’s working.

    Thank you again ??
