    Hi

    I’m having problems with the confirmation email.
    Once a user subscribes the form, it receives a generic email from Mailchimp to confirm the subscription. This is not a setting I’ve set anywhere on WordPress or in Mailchimp and according to Mailchimp’s support only happens when the contact is passed with status “Pending”. This is also not the case, as I’m picking status “Subscribed” on the feed settings.

    plugin can not override optin status if “double optin” is selected in MailChimp list settings
    if you check “double optin” in mailchimp list settings , it means you have forced status as “pending” in mailchimp
