confirmation (double Opt In) Issue

Hello, new user here.
We have just switched over from another company. all is better so far!
However one issue we have found…A customer is subscribed and confirmed via the email link.
Every time they place an order they are getting the “Subscription Confirmation Email” again.
I have only noticed this as we sell on other platforms and in person, and to quicky manage stock etc i have a customer account which i use to place orders via the website when we have received orders not placed directly. Every time i place an order i receive the “Confirm Your Subscription” Email.
Its started to annoy me already and fear actual customers may get annoyed too.
