Confirm User Reg doesn't work at all

Hello. I just installed Confirm User Registration, and verified that the configuration is correct. However it doesn’t work at all. The registration page is standard, and there is no addition of the text to indicate that registration requires approval, and new registrations get registered immediately. What do you suggest?
