    Hi,

    I installed subscribe2 version 9.0.
    Sending emails from Settings=>Templates=>”Template Email Preview”
    works.

    But when I fill out in the widget the email formular no confirmation email is sent to the new subscriber.
    The “Send an email to subscribers” functionality seems also not to work.

    How to debug this stuff?

  • @pirat8,

    You might find something helpful in these links:

    Can you add users in the Subscribe2->Subscribers admin page under the Public subscribers tab?

    Yes, I can add users via
    Subscribe2->Subscribers admin page under the Public subscribers tab

    I installed the email-log plugin und I saw that mails are sent.

    I think the only thing what does NOT work ist the subcribe formular.

    When I type in a mail address I get in green color:

    “Thank you for signing up! Please check your email to confirm your subscription.”

    However no mail ist sent. In this case I do also not see a mail in the email log. But I should, right?!

    Once registered I think it is working…

    @pirat8,

    That message is not coming from Subscribe2 so I suspect that’s a Page on your site. It sounds like the form where you enter the email address is redirecting to that page but Subscribe2 is not available on that page so it isn’t being processed.

    Add the shortcode to the re-directed page or re-direct to another page.

    Ok, I see. The form comes from the “Subscribe2 Widget Pro” widget.
    I just installed this widget and draged it to my primary widget area.
    I did not pay any license fees for it because I understand it so that a basic functionality is available for free.
    Exist another widget which I can install to let the user type in the mailaddress in a formular and which cooperates with “subscribe 2”?

    @pirat8,

    Subscribe2 has a built in Widget, enable it in the Appearance tab in the Subscribe2->Settings page and then place it on the WordPress widgets page.
