Confirm Email Address Field – custom validation PHP not showing in advanced

Hi, I’ve been following your website’s tutorial “How to add confirm email address field in WooCommerce checkout page?”. I’ve successfully added the custom validation code to the functions.php, but that custom validation isn’t showing up in the custom checkout field settings > advanced > validation list.

I’m not sure why this is. The tutorial looks a bit old in that the screenshot of the box show’s a dropdown under the general tab, not the advanced tab as another tutorial mentions.

Is the php code still relevant, or is it outdated? What php code can I use that will work to validate the second “confirm email address” against the first email address field? TIA ??
