Confilict with Yoast SEO: Can’t find variable: WDP

  • Hi there,
    Your plugin is conflicting with Yoast SEO and so makes other Media Library related plugins not working (including some I developed for my own)

    The console says “checkLocalRoutes — wdev-ui.js:178 – ReferenceError: Can’t find variable: WDP”. If I deactivate your WP Smush, it works back.

    I was advised by Yoast SEO author to open a thread here as well, hopefully you guys will find a way to fix as the only way to make the Media Library working for now is to deactivate your plugin.

    Let me know if you need more informations (actually, this was occurring with the 2.6.1 as well)

    Apologies for the delay in here.

    Can you please try re-installing the plugin, WP Smush? Do not directly delete the plugin, as it’ll clear all the saved Settings and Progress/Stats, Unless you haven’t smushed any images so far.     Can you post detailed steps to replicate the issue? Do i need to install any other plugin to check this, or just Yoast SEO and WP Smush?

    I don’t see any console error with just two of these.
