Configuring other locations

    Hi

    Firstly the WP-Forcast works fine as a Shotcode using the default location

    If I want to report on say:
    sa calobra
    39.8505° N, 2.7999° E

    IS there any guidance on the location information

    AcuWeather
    EUR|ES|GM007|SA CALOBRA // This doesn’t work and I can’t simply set the Longitude/ latitude . Note, no API key seems to be required.
    WeatherBug
    I don’t think your plugin support this any more as it is not listed in the weather providers. I have obtained an API key if required

    DarkSky
    I have the free secret key but it is not clear I can configure this using the plugin settings i.e There isn’t a Partner ID and again I can’t just supply the Longnitude/Latitude

    Hi,

    as far as I see sa calobra is not available from the free accuweather api, but EUR|ES|SP004|ESCORCA| is.

    So you can use this to get your weather data.

    Yes, WeatherBug was removed due to permanten problems and errors.
    But you are right, if you just enter the coordinates and do not have a location selected it is overwritten if you save the location.
    I will fix this soon, then it will be possible to have an empty location and enter the coordinates to use it without a choosen location for DarkSky.

    Meanwhile please use the workaround using EUR|ES|SP004|ESCORCA|.

    Thanks, for a fast response. Your suggestion works. Will be keen to try out the log/lat approach with AccuWeather and DarkSky.
