I am attempting to have my website host a doubles tennis league. jaxtennis.com It might help if I explain what I am trying to accomplish. This may require some custom coding that I would need to hire out for. So, I would like to some advice on completing whatever tasks you can help with me through this forum and what tasks I would need to hire out and who could do this.

In this, I would setup the competitions and teams that are participating in the competitions.

    1) Then an individual player would register online, where the information completed would automatically complete the SportsPress player profile and add that person to the team selected.
    2) Events would then be manually imported
    3) Team Representative would be granted access to the scoring area of the event pages that his team participated in only. Then that person would add players to the lineup from both teams. Then scores would be input.
    4) Each event is called a “match” (parent-match), within these matches (events), there would anywhere from 3 to 5 separate doubles matches (child-match). The results of these separate child-matches determines the winner of the overall parent-match.
    5) Each child-match is made up of a partnership of two players from each team. The two players would have a single score determined.
    6) The box score format would be the best of 3 sets. If a team won the first two sets, there wouldn’t be a third. The team that won the best of 3 sets would earn 1 point towards the parent-match score.
    7) At the end of the day, the results of the parent-match would be whichever team won the most of the 5 child-matches. Example the 3-2 winner, would then win the overall match and would score 1 point for that overall win.

I am having great difficulty in configuring the event outcomes, event results, and box score area. This is what an event result looks like so far, which is not remotely adequate for my needs. https://jaxtennis.com/?sp_event=631

    Hi John!

    Thanks for getting in touch.

“1) Then an individual player would register online, where the information completed would automatically complete the SportsPress player profile and add that person to the team selected.”
This is possible only with some custom code, or a plugin like gravity forms

“2) Events would then be manually imported”
You could use our CSV import tool for that

“3) Team Representative would be granted access to the scoring area of the event pages that his team participated in only. Then that person would add players to the lineup from both teams. Then scores would be input.”
This is possible with SportsPress Pro! ??

“4) Each event is called a “match” (parent-match), within these matches (events), there would anywhere from 3 to 5 separate doubles matches (child-match). The results of these separate child-matches determines the winner of the overall parent-match.”
This is possible with some custom code. By default it won’t work with a hierarchy, the closest we have to that are the match-days (rounds) for a competitions

“5) Each child-match is made up of a partnership of two players from each team. The two players would have a single score determined.”
This is possible via player performance and metrics

“6) The box score format would be the best of 3 sets. If a team won the first two sets, there wouldn’t be a third. The team that won the best of 3 sets would earn 1 point towards the parent-match score.”
Sure, this is possible (not with the hierarchy though, just a regular match)

“7) At the end of the day, the results of the parent-match would be whichever team won the most of the 5 child-matches. Example the 3-2 winner, would then win the overall match and would score 1 point for that overall win.”
This isn’t possible right now. It’s similar to #4

    Kind Regards,
    -Roch
