Hello,I would like to configure the CDN through CNAME, and I have sent the instructions from the website to my hosting provider:

    **Configuring DNS**
In order to serve your site globally, QUIC.cloud CDN requires you to make changes to your DNS configuration. This can be done in one of two ways:

2.-You can add a CNAME record at your existing DNS provider, and point it to QUIC.cloudThe CNAME option is available mostly to those who wish to use a subdomain (like www.example.com or sub.example.com with QUIC.cloud, while the QUIC.cloud DNS option is available to everyone.
    **Using the CNAME Option**
    **WWW and Other Subdomains**
If you'd like to set up QUIC.cloud CDN with a subdomain (e.g. www.example.com) using the CNAME method, please see Configuring DNS for a Subdomain to proceed.

    **Root Domains**
If you'd like to set up QUIC.cloud CDN with a root domain (e.g. example.com) using the CNAME method, you will need to employ CNAME flattening or use an ANAME/ALIAS record. Some DNS providers offer this feature, but many do not.If your DNS provider does offer this feature, please see Configuring DNS for a Root Domain to proceed. If your DNS provider does not offer this feature, you have three choices:

1.-Change your DNS provider to a provider that offers CNAME flattening or ANAME/ALIAS records, so you can continue to use your root domain. Please see Configuring DNS for a Root Domain to proceed.

2.-Forget about CNAME and use QUIC.cloud's built-in DNS solution. Please see Switching to QUIC.cloud DNS to proceed.

3.-Stick with your current DNS provider, but change your WordPress site so that it uses a www domain instead of the root domain. Please see Switching from a Root Domain to a www Domain to proceed.

But they have replied to me saying:

We don't see the destination of the CNAME records that we need to create. You probably have to obtain it from the CDN platform. Could you send it to us through this ticket so we can configure it?

Is what they’re saying correct, or is the destination they need to configure QUIC.cloud?Thank you, regards.

whats the difference using DNS option or CNAME change option? Is one better than another?

Ive read that using a low latency DNS can speed up my web. Is possible to found a fastest DNS than QUIC.cloud ones? If yes are all premium payment alternatives?

use CNAME you will do one more query , use QC DNS , it will only need to do one query , that’s the main difference

nowadays , the DNS query time is literally like less than 100ms , I wouldn’t think it’s a really critical factor
