• Haven’t installed this yet because I have a technical question. Scenario:

    • Install plugin and configure a default campaign for the website
    • Embed a Pardot form on a page
    • Visitor comes to page to fill out form

At this point, my understanding is that the visitor will be assigned the default campaign because that tracking code is present on the website, even though they’re about to fill out this embedded form and I want them to be assigned to the form’s campaign. Does the plugin somehow account for this scenario?

Great question, @eclev91. You are correct that Pardot campaign attribution begins with the first touch, so a campaign tracking code would be attributed before the form conversion.

The plugin doesn’t account for this yet, although I’d like to see a Campaign option on each piece of content in WordPress allowing for the override of the specific campaign.

In your case, I would recommend going “outside” the plugin with a coded solution by conditionally printing the right campaign tracking code in wp_footer(). Happy to write up a code snippet example if it would help!
