Hi Guys, Using the latest and greatest version which corrected the tax problem. Now I am trying to configure variation, er, maybe attributes, and can’t make them stick. My shop is converted from wp ecommerce, so the t shirts came over fine for the sizes, but I am trying to configure a patch for left or right hand, which was working in the old shop.

Maybe concise instructions would help, as the OLD instructions just don’t look quite right…

    Thanks
    Heres the error:

PHP Warning: Missing argument 2 for jigoshop_product_meta_variable::save() in \wp-content\plugins\jigoshop\admin\write-panels\product-types\variable.php on line 114

Could you please describe the steps you took in configuring the particular variable item? Please post your system info as well.

    Thanks

I tried to add the items as attributes, then convert to varients but there seems to be missing buttons or something, I can see the attributes, but they never show up in the product. Once the dropdown
showed up on the product with the text, “choose an option”

I tried to follow the instruction on the “OLD” forum, but the choices and buttons don’t appear on my site…
    Thats it…

Is this the documentation that you were following?

    Yes it was!

Try overwriting the Jigoshop plugin on your server to see if it repairs the argument.

    Please DEFINE overwriting, Please

Sorry. What I mean is download a fresh Jigoshop and login via FTP and move the fresh copy in place of existing. Your FTP client (I use Filezilla) will prompt you asking what to. Just tell it to overwrite existing. It may fix the errors.

If not, please email [email protected] with temp WP login and FTP credentials.

Tried uploading new copy, can’t see where its changed.

    Will send login asap

In particular, look at the DNR Patch

    Thread Starter henryavl

    (@henryavl)

I have tried several times to set the DNR patch to have an option of Right or Left. The closest I can get to is to display a drop down that says choose an option.

Either it’s too easy and I am making it hard, or Its not working…

    (@mwsgd)

Your setting were close. I deleted the “Hand” product attribute and recreated it. Be sure they are set to multi-select. I also fixed DNR to where it would dropdown with the options.

    1. Set the product to variable.
    2. Click attributes tab
    3. Click the variations dropdown and select the variable. The click “Add Attribute”. Sometimes you have to save before the “Add Attribute” button appears.

This next place is where you probably got confused…

    4. Go to Variation tab and click “Add Variation”. A variable will appear below. Click the dropdown and select the variation you want. Now you can fill in your SKU, price, stock, and etc.
    5. Repeat step 4 until you’ve added all variations.

I’m sorry the documentation is not clear. I will make a note to have it rewritten. Let me know if you need further assistance.
