sorry to interfere here but it’s a general question now with new behaviour of CF7 an error message.

I’ve took a look here https://kb.cf7skins.com/contact-form-7-email-issues/ and used the custom header field to add

Sender: Myself <[email protected]>
Reply-To: [your-name] <[your-email]>

but kept [your-name] <[your-email]> in From field. Do you consider this as allowed Takayuki Miyoshi or not ?

Ah ok, so I need to use the mailtag with the senders address as a reply-to in the header. Will try that.

I’ve made some tests and it will work using a FROM with current domain address and custom headers as described. I suppose it’s the only way to get rid of the error message.
I suppose “Sender” is not needed here if FROM is the same address.

Using Sender: Myself <[email protected]> will work on many hosts but not all.

The safest option is to use a valid email address from the domain where your form is hosted in the From: field.

Add Reply-To: [your-name] <[your-email]> in Additional Headers so you can reply to the form users email address.
