Configuration difficulties

Hi. I’ve been trying to set this up for several days now but I have a configuration issue. I either just want:
a) the list display for the month with the card and all event details appearing on click of the card header.
or
b) the list display for the month with the card header linking to a separate page for full details of the single event.
Is this even possible with this plugin?
At the moment I have (a) all set up and ready to go at /local-events/ but also I have an unwanted and un-styled calendar at /events/ created by the plugin which leads to un-styled single pages. I have experimented with all the settings, and anything I found in the documentation. I’ve tried setting up (b) at /events/ but have been unable to add to, edit, or style those pages.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’d like to get this up and running without the duplicate events pages, but simply cannot put this on the website menu in it’s current format.The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
