    I’m very confused. I’ve setup my page which is running fine. What I was expecting was when someone wanted to leave a comment, they would need to register first, then leave their comment. Before it would post, I would need to approve it. That’s not happening!

    When I test it as a potential visitor posting a comment, I’m sent to a scaled down version of the Dashboard. I just wanted my visitors to register, post their comment which I then can approve. Is there a way of preventing my visitor from seein the Dasboard?

    Thank you for any pointers here.

  • Don’t require registration. And you still can set it to send the comments for moderation.
    Study: admin panel > Options > General > Membership
    and also OPtions > Discussion

    Well that took care of the Dashboard problem, but the comment shows up on the page instantly even though I set the Discussion to “An administrator must approve the comment (regardless of any matches below) “

    The comment shows up like this:

    No Responses to a€?Test Topica€?
    Tim Rose Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation.

    That took care of the Dashboard issue, but the comment shows up even though I’m supposed to approve it first. The newly created comment shows up like this:

    No Responses to a€?Test Posta€?
    Tim Rose Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation.
