• I entered in the url to my prestashop site, which resides on a different domain name than my wordpress blog, and I keep getting this message:

The actual value “(my url)” does not refer to a PrestaShop installation !

Can you tell me what a typical absolute path prestashop installation that is separate from my WP blog might look like? I assume it is just the main root folder for my Prestashop installation, but please let me know if it is something different. Is there any reason the url associated with my Prestashop wouldn’t be recognized by this plugin?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

The plugin will only work if the PHP code of PrestaShop (and its database) can be accessed from your hosting. If you have a different domain, it may be because you use also a different hosting : it will not work !

You need at minimum use the same hosting so that PrestaShop libraries can be accessed and loaded (the plugin does not include all the PrestaShop code, but only what is necessary to make the “bridge”).

    Fran?ois.
