• I’m not sure which version, the readme txt says version 2. 2001

I’m an advanced user and I can’t get WP to install. I’m using a GoDaddy mySql running mySql v 4.1, apache

I have gone over the config.php several times and when I call up the install program I get this:

    Error establishing a database connection

So, it’s GoDaddy, or my config.php file is wrong. Can you guys take a look at my config.php and see if you can spot something I missed?

    Thanks.

  • localhost

godaddy doesn’t use localhost to connect to the database but something similar to
    p50mysql.secureserver.net or mysql33.secureserver.net
look in the db manager for the exact connection
