• I have WordPress hosting on Network Solutions and am having problems uploading a new theme as well as upgrading the version of WordPress. I keep getting connection errors.

    How do I find the correct connection information/settings, and where do I change this? on Network Solutions or within my WordPress admin area, or both?

    When I get the error message, I do not have the option to change any information… hostname, username or password.

  • Are you doing this via the WordPress admin or via FTP.

    If you can’t do either via FTP, then you need to contact Network Solutions.

    If you are doing it via the WordPress admin, then it’s still a Network Solutions problem, but I would try doing it via FTP.

    Have had this problem since last Friday. Have no connection to Askimet or WordPress development blog or plugin update notifications.

    All I get is “we’re working on it”. Whatever that’s supposed to mean.
