I have a question regarding whether the following can be done with the pro version:

Product A must be added to cart in order to “quality” for the discount. The discount (X percent off) can than be applied to everything else OTHER than product A and the discount can only be applied to ONE item in the cart, not the cart total. It looks like from the dropdown this is possible. I see someting that says “apply to cheapest item in cart subtotal” so I assume that is it, however what if I want to apply it to the highest item instead?

Bottom line is I really only want to apply the single percent off discount to 1 product and not the entire order and based on if another product is in the cart. Sort of like a bogo.

    THanks!

  • Hello,

Thank you for writing to us.
This very much seems like what the PRO version of the plugin can handle, but in order to absolutely be sure the PRO version is the right solution for you, could you please give a scenario of exactly how you want the discount to work?

That way, I can give you the best advice on whether or not to continue with our offering.

    Warm regards,
    Adeniran.

    Thanks.

I thought I made it clear in the first message how I wanted it to work but here it is again:

Customer adds product A to their cart, they then qualify for a discount on other select products. In their cart they get a discount of 50% off of ONE item (either lowest or highest in cart) and NOT the entire cart. The discount would not apply to the original item added to the cart either. So discount should only show for any one item (not a specific one). Make sense?

If I purchase the pro version is there a refund policy incase it doesn’t do what I want it to do?

    Hello,

    Thank you for clarifying.
This is possible with our plugin, however, there needs to be more specificity on what item(s) gets discounted. The plugin can only be set to discount the cheapest item in the cart or one specific product unit for this use case.

And to address your final query, we do have a 7-day return policy. You can learn more about it here.

    Best,

That’s the thing, I don’t want to specify which products, just whatever is the cheapest or highest in the cart (my choice). So it sounds like I have to list out every product that the coupon would apply to?

    Exactly,
It is essential you state what product(s) the discount should be applied upon. The plugin uses a “list” approach in identifying what product(s) the discount should be applied to. While you can set that the cheapest item in this list, in the cart, should be discounted; you cannot set that the most expensive item to have a discount.

Please let me know if you need any further clarity.

    Regards,
    Adeniran.
