Conditionally shown text fields – data doesn’t appear in mail/success message

    Working on a form, where I have some text fields, that are conditionally shown depending on earlier choices.

    The data entered in those fields doesn’t come through in the mail notifications, the success message or a summary HTML I have placed before sending.

    The data also doesn’t appear when I look at the saved submission.

    I use the merge tags like this: {text-12}, {text-13} etc.

    Thank you for contacting us.

    Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your submissions. A new plugin version will be released today that has several fixes applied. Could you please update the plugin once the release is live and test checking your submissions?

    In case issue persists, please export the form and upload it to a drive where you can share the link with us here for further testing.

    Thanks for replying @wpmudev-support9 and thanks for a very nice plugin.

    My problem is specifically with text fields, which are shown when a single upload field has a file chosen and the conditional is based on the upload field containing a “.”. The idea being that every file will contain a “.” – the text fields are for entering a description of the file.

    I will be on the lookout for the update and will report back if the problem persists.

    We do have a fix slated to display fields which has zero value fields. However, it isn’t clear whether that’s the case you are facing.

    To double-check, could you also please export your form and share the export file in the next reply so that we could check further regarding this?

    You can use Google Drive, Dropbox or any such cloud services to share the link to the export in the next reply.
