• This page should show a different menu than the one it has changed to. It is ticked under ‘PAges’ in the Conditional menus Manage Locations, show should show the menu as this one below:

    https://www.simplybirdsandmoths.co.uk/sbam/derbyshire-moths/

It’s funny, cos having got this working correctly, going in and editing these pages, then saving them AND checking that they have not become unticked in the PAges section of manage locations, they are now resorting to the default menu, not the conditional one.

Any ideas why this could be happening?

Where in the mysql table is the information stored which shows which menu a particula page should be using?

    Thanks

    Richard.

i suppose I could deactivate the plugin and re-do all the menu conditiona again, but thought I’d ask first.

    Hi,

Do you mean the menu display condition uncheck (reset) by itself? It shouldn’t happen. Could you try to disable other plugins except Conditional Menus and re-try assigning menu display conditions?

I removed a few plugins I had put on after the Conditional Menus one and no difference. So i removed the Conditional menus i had set in the ‘Manage Locations’ tab, then saved the Menu. Then I De-activated your plugin. Then I Activated it and went back in and added a Conditional menu and started re-adding the pages, etc., in the lists, and it all seems to be working again, thank goodness. As an ask, because I have a lot of pages to maintain, there is a ‘uncheck all’ box, maybe you could add a ‘CheckAll’ box – that would be extremely useful.

Thanks and i keep my fingers crossed……

A bit better, although some pages still refuse to swap out menus according to the condition.

Clicking this link shows the correct Conditional menu – https://www.simplybirdsandmoths.co.uk/sbam/derbyshire-moths/

When this link is clicked the page reverts to the core menu not the conditional one, despite the page being checked in the ‘pages’ condition listing – https://www.simplybirdsandmoths.co.uk/sbam/day-flying-moths/

Several other pages don’t play ball either – frustrating to say the least – for example – https://www.simplybirdsandmoths.co.uk/sbam/hawk-moths-list/

As i asked before, is there any way you could show me where to look for the database/table link that shows that this page has been ‘tagged’ to use the conditional menu, then i can see if it’s not writing it correctly. Just a table and a field link – I can sort out the rest.

    Thanks.

Also, now once i have edited a page, or several pages, it/they then refuse to open with the conditional menu, having been fine before. I even re-save the conditions in the conditional menus manage locations menu. Still no good. Is there a limit to the number of conditional items which can be used? I have approximately 1100 pages in the list.

Any help appreciated, as I am out of ideas here.

i think there is a bug, where, when a page which has been placed in the conditions list, is edited and re-saved, that the page then will not open the conditional menu, despite still being checked in the ‘pages’ conditions listing of the manage locations plugin page. Nothing else has been changed on the site, aside from these page edits/changes.

It is difficulty to debug this without having admin access. If you don’t mind, please contact us directly: https://themify.me/contact. We might need admin access and screenshots of the issue.
