Conditional Video Background change on button hover

Hi there!

I am in need of some help with regards to a splash screen i’m putting together for a client. There are many resources available online, but I don’t even know what to search for in order to get the specific help i’m after.

The client is sold on having a splash screen for his site serve as a portal to two pages only. The page will have two logo links side by side, and when a user hovers over either link, a different video loop will appear on the entire background of the page. I think this falls into “Conditional appearance” or something similar. See the attached image showing a brief idea of what needs to happen on the splash page.
