Thank you for the plugin, it’s great.

I looked through the support forum and couldn’t find an answer to my question:
Is there a way to conditionally show a message based on what list the logged-in user is in?

Here’s what I’m trying to do:
I want to show a link to a mailchimp signup form only if the current logged-in user isn’t on the list.

Your plugin shows which list each user is in, so I was hoping there would be a way to use that.

    Thanks again for any help.

    Hi carolemagouirk.

That is a very interesting use case!

Evan will have to answer this one, but I don’t think WordPress user accounts and MailChimp accounts are connected to each other in that way.

    Evan can chime in tomorrow.

    Thank you!

    Hi Carolemagouirk,

What Tracy stated is correct. There is no easy way to cross check the current users email with a mailing list on MailChimp with our plugin. You can write a function that would do so – but there is nothing built into our plugin allowing for that.

    Thanks,
    Evan

Right, a function is what I’m looking for, if you could point me in the right direction. ??
