Does this issue occur with a default WP theme such as 2021 or 2022? If not, your theme maybe have an issue with its nav walker class.
Regards,
I would like to confirm having the same issue at my side. Using latest WP and latest Evolve plus theme. However, I have the same issue using default WP theme (latest one) as well.
What happened is that I have tried to rename an menu item and after saving the menu it started to show all menu items for everyone on all pages. It’s like menu has completely forgotten it’s settings. As long as I am using default Twenty twenty two there is no conditional logic field shown in appearance/menus.
To fix this I have to switch back to Twenty twenty one default WP theme and set up conditional logic for each page/menu item. That is crazy to do having in mind number of pages and/or menu items that I have to set up again.
Kindly asking for a solution. Thank you.
Update: having issue in UM 2.3.0 as well as 2.3.1 I have no idea when the issue started to occur since I have not been updating menu for months.
And more details: If I switch conditional logic field (using twenty twenty one theme) and chose “logged in users” instead of “everyone” (which now stands for all menu items) I am getting blank check boxes. Obviously plugin has forgot my selection or can not pull it from the settings.

What are these checkboxes that you referring to? Are they roles? If possible, please provide a screenshot. You can upload the screenshot via imgur.com and then share the image URL here so we can review it.
Regards,
Thank you Champ for reply.
Yes, I was referring to user roles checkboxes. Bellow are the screenshots
Each menu item has been related to user role and that was working perfectly fine. After renaming only 1 menu item and saving the menu all menu items were switched access to “everyone” (not sure if that is default setting for menu items) and as seen from the screen shot after choosing the option “logged in users only” from drop down menu turned out that all user roles (menu items) have lost their dependencies.
I have also checked console for errors when loading menus settings but there was no errors at all.
Notice that my live site at the moment works properly but since no conditional logic field is shown within menu options I am not able to make any menu changes being afraid that settings will be lost.

Just to add that I have checked for plugins compatibility turning of all plugins except UM and switching to default theme (updated). Issue is still present.
Another update:
I have loaded staging version of my site from march 2021 and this was the setup:WP 5.6.2 / UM 2.1.15 / evolve Plus theme 2.9.9.8
No UM Conditional menu section under Appearance/MenusChanged that to
WP 5.6.2 / UM 2.1.15 / Twenty twenty one ver 1.1
Conditional menu section present, check boxes marked correctlyConclusion:
UM conditional menu settings have been lost somewhere between those versions and updates.Just as a reminder, I don’t have menus section at all under appearance at the WP left sidebar even with latest WP+UM+ default theme.
I would really love to see some progress on this since more than 2 weeks has passed now. Thank you.
Sorry for the late response.
Could you please confirm that this issue occurs with the latest version 2.3.1?
Yes, confirming version 2.3.1
Allow me to highlight once again that I don’t see “Menus” section under appearance options in the dashboard (at the WP left sidebar) even using latest WP + latest UM + latest default theme.
As far as my knowledge goes, issue goes beyond common Theme compatibility issues since menus do not work even with default WP theme.
By the way, I was suggested to start separate topic which I have not done since we exchanged here a lot of details and did not want to make double posts. I will open new topic if necessary.

Don’t know for the OP but I have finally managed to solve the issue on my own. Feeling pretty much stupid and uncomfortable cause issue was because of my theme not being updated. For some strange reason it was not notifying me for it’s updates and for all this time I thought that I am using the latest theme version which was not the case (I have already reported issue to theme devs).
I have to apologize to UM support for taking away their precious time, yet, I am not happy how often support is slow and issue resolving lasts for weeks, sometimes even longer.
I am having the same issue. I did activate a default theme like Twenty Twenty One and the conditional menu options were available, so it must be a theme issue.
I’m using Moody theme (https://themeforest.net/item/moody-a-modern-flexible-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/20524765).
Everything (theme, WP and all plugins) is up to date.
I’m having this issue with another site as well. It is pretty catastrophic as I have countless pages that are no longer hidden to unlogged users. I had to revert back to an older version of the site.
My question is… what can I do to make my theme compatible with Ultimate Member?
I was having the same problem. Part of the issue was that I needed to explicitly Enable Content Restriction for Gutenberg Blocks on the Access tab in UM settings. The Restrict Access toggle was then available for the menus. Unfortunately, the settings which had been previously set on the menu did not seem to carry over, so I still have to re-secure the menu.
@hmcody Are you saying the following option “Allow Gutenberg Blocks restriction options” must be enabled? It’s already enabled in my site and not making a difference. Perhaps I’m not understanding you correctly?
I am using UM version 2.3.2 and the option is Enable the “Content Restriction” settings for the Gutenberg Blocks It is found on UM Settings -> Access -> Restriction Content right under the Restricted Access Message box.
I don’t see “Allow Gutenberg Block restrictions” anywhere in my settings, though they sound like the same thing. Perhaps we are working on different versions?
