I have two websites with the same custom theme.
I installed the “Conditional Menus” plugin to both sites.
One site gives me the option to add a conditional menu, the other site does not.
I compared all active plugins to both sites, and they are identical.
Any reason why the option displays on one site, but not the other?

    Hi,

On your custom theme, do you use the standard WP nav function? Conditional Menus can only detect the menu registered in the theme. On the site with issue, do you have any menu created on Appearance > Menus?

Not sure where I can check the registration of menus in a theme. Is it in a .php file?
Our menus are created from ‘Appearance’ | ‘Menus’ screen.
Both sites are set up with a similar primary menu.

It sounds like a setting/configuration as you said both sites use the same theme and plugins. Have you checked the display conditions? Or delete and re-create another menu? Since we can’t access your site, we are unable to debug it. Any chance to post screenshots of your menu setups, conditional menu setups, and the site URL?

You asked me to check display conditions: What do you mean by this? Where do I check them?
I can grant you temporary access to both sites, if that’ll help.

I have the same issue. What did you guys figure out was the problem?

Themify was very helpful. We uncovered another plugin I had installed was causing the issue. As soon as I deactivated the offending plugin, the menus showed up and worked wonderfully.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for those insights, but what plugin was that? I deactivated a menu related plugin but it still didn’t work.

    Thanks

Have a great Day as well ??

Our plug was called ‘Under Construction’. It was not related to menus at all, but affected the conditional menu plugin anyway.
If you can safely deactivate all plug-ins and see if the conditional menus show up, then you can start to isolate which plug in is causing the issue.

ah perfect, yeah that helps a lot.

    I’ll do that.

    Thanks a lot
