    Hi All,

I would like to create different menus for different language pages on my site. After searching google I’ve found out that this is called conditional menu items. I’ve installed a plugin called ‘Conditional Menus’. This is a pretty straight forward plugin, and I could setup it the way I want the menus to look like. But it just doesn’t work.

Here is a video where the presenter shows the steps. I do the exact same, and I can only see the original menu on the English page as well. The original menu is set to be the Main menu in the oceanwp theme. I suppose this is what it blocks the usage of a secondary menu.

My question is: do you guys use any kind of conditional menu items, and if so, how did you achieve it?

    Thank you!

    Regards,
    Daniel

I left out the video link:

    Hello,

For the multilingual website, you can use Polylang or WPML as per your need to translate the site content based on the language.

I didn’t understand your need clearly. Which translation plugin you are using to create your multilingual website?

    Hi Amit,

Thanks for your reply! I understand if my description is not crystal clear but the video is. But since then I could solve my issue. Please check my site (servio.hu) and you can see it yourself. If you click on the English flag itt will take you to an English page, and that English page has a different menu (in the upper part of the webpage) than in the Hungarian one.

It turned out that I do not even have to use plugins, because OceanWP knows this by default.. I had to select the corresponding menu in the Page settings under Menu – Main Navigation Menu.

    Case solved.

    Thanks again.

Okay, yes you can select page/post specific menu from the OceanWP settings metabox. Glad to hear that you found a solution for it.
