conditional logic for variable woocommere product not working

hi community,

I am trying to get the conditional logic on the variable product to work. there are four options in the first dropdown:

based on the selection here, the second dropdown should only show variants that have been matched accordingly in the backend.

I went through all options in the backend and they are matched correctly, but the conditional logic does not work on the frontend. I am not sure what is wrong.

Any suggestion is much appreciated ??
