Conditional Image just showing when browser resized

Hello.
Running WP 5.3.2 with Divi Theme.

Encountered a problem with the “Image with text” field.

I want to display an Image when a certain condition in a dropdown is met.
Uploaded picture, set condition “show this field if item contains (certain value).
All seems ok. But when the condition is met and dropdown item is selected, an empty space appears, headlined with the selected label – but no image.

But, as soon as I resize the browser window, the image is displayed correctly.
Regardless if I am in full screen or smaller window (with enough space to display).

This happens on Firefox, Safari (Mac and PC), and on Edge also.

Any Idea what I am doing wrong – or may this be a bug?
