Conditional fields showing in email

I was creating a contact form with conditional fields. I followed exact instructions in the documentation when using the conditional fields in the notification email. However, when I tested it, the conditional fields were replicated in the body of the email.
I’m thinking this may be due to the recent update, but I can’t figure it out. For now, I have removed conditional fields from the email and the client will just have to deal with empty email fields (not a big deal) until this gets resolved.
