Conditional Field: Hide both in View AND Edit

I want to hide a field from both the view AND edit modes using conditional logic.

I set up a conditional rule to hide a field. In view mode, the field is hidden. But in edit mode, the user still can see and edit the field. I want the field to be hidden in BOTH View and Edit mode.
