Hmm looks more like an issue with styling.
Do you have cache of some sort? If so make sure you clear that out and also refresh your browser a few times to get rid of browser cache.

Can you also check your console in browser if there’s some style not loading?

I don’t have a caching plugin installed yet. I tried clearing the browser cache several times. The display bounces back to normal for a second and then reverts to the jumble.
It looks like the styles are loading.

I just checked “Disable the select2 library” and that fixed it.

Ah so it’s select2 styling that’s messing things up..

I’d greatly appreciate if you could do some debugging in the inspector to see what styles are acting up with select2 active. Or if I could get access to test it myself (dont need admin, just the filter in the frontend (with select2 active).

Select2 is active again and I took it out of maintenance mode. I’ll leave it open for the rest of the day.

Can’t figure out why this happens to you but it seem to happen when the select2 is destroyed and recreated by the conditional AJAX.

I haven’t seen this anywhere else. If you disable the conditional it works?
I notice your themes editor-style thingy adds styling to the hidden select. That might have something to do with it. Does it work if you use one of the supplied styles?

No other combination of choices helps. If I disable the conditional it works.
I guess I’ll just disable select2 and keep the conditional. It’s a great feature!

I’ve made some tweaks to the js code. Could you try replacing the file in beautiful-taxonomy-filters/public/js/ with this:

See if that changes anything.

Everything is still the same after replacing the file.

Hmm okay.. strange that it can’t be duplicated.

You don’t need to open it again. I wont find anything new ??
The only way forward that I can see is if you could try changing your theme. If that does not help start deactivating plugins until it starts working (hopefully). That way we could determine wether the theme or a plugin is the cause.

I don’t think I can help you any more than that right now until we know more.
