• Hi, just bought Pro version today as I needed to increase the upload file size. My client will be uploading large files over 1GB in size. I had tested some large file sizes, 50MB, 100MN and finally 1GB all worked but when my client went to upload the site crashed and received a Resource Limit is Reached error.

I contacted the hosting company and they said that this plugin had something to do with it and that there must be some code to add the the .htaccess file to limit the number of concurrent connections.

    Any help on this?

    Thanks,
    Al.

How many files did the client tried to upload at once?

Did the hosting company tell you what resource reached the limit (memory, concurrent connections)?

When a user uploads one file, no matter how big, then the plugin will open maximum 4 connections with the server. So I do not think it is a concurrent connection problem.

Hey Nick, thanks for the reply.

The hosting company said there were 2 issues, the first was CPU Usage was used up and the second was that concurrent connections had reached it’s limit (it’s set to 20).

The client as far as I know only tried to upload one file, it was 1GB+.

20 connections? do you know what browser was used?

I think the client uses IE 11.

He hasn’t tried to upload a file again yet so hopefully it was a once off issue and won’t happen again.
