    Hi,
    I would like to concatenate the content of several cells and some additional strings in one cell.
    Unfortunately the formula functionality seems to work only on numerical values.
    Is there a function to have the content of cells concatenated e.g. =A1 & B1 & ” some more text”?
    Thanks

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Formulas do indeed only work with numerical values, so concatenating dynamic strings is not possible at this time. Sorry ??
    Adding static text around a value (or formula result) is possible with “formula” like

    =Sum: {SUM(B2:B8)}

    (see https://tablepress.org/tablepress-features-formulas/ ).

    Hi Tobias,
    thank you for your very fast reply and your work on this powerful plugin!

    This feature would have helped me a lot in my current project, maybe it will be available in a upcoming release.

    Hi,

    no problem, you are very welcome!
    I’m not sure if I’ll be able to add this, as the formula parser requires numeric values at the end, and all strings will have to be changed to numbers first. But maybe I can find a good implementation ??

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
