Compressed images option messes with media library URLs. It add “uploads” to each file in the media library. How do I stop this?

Also, I am trying to turn off compress images but it keeps turning back on. Why?

Perhaps it has something to do with the inages being in an images folder on the top level instead of the uploads folder. How do I turn that off? Is there some code snippet I can add to functions.php that will override that setting in Wp Optimize?

    Hi,

Can you check your browser console when deactivating, to see if there’s an error?

Could you share a screenshot of the issue? I’m not sure how that could happen.

    Marc.
