I know there have been countless posts with this same title and I’ve looked through them all but can’t seem to find a solution to my problem. When I look at the Javascript console I get this message, “Uncaught TypeError: object is not a function,” among others.

I was using the latest version of Edge Suite and was seeing everything but images I imported into edge animate while creating my composition. So, I saw a box and text I created in Edge but not the .png and jpeg images I had in there.

Then I switched to the latest dev version of the plugin … now I’m not seeing anything. I’ve tried the sample oem file from the tutorial and that doesn’t work either.

Not sure what else I can do but would appreciate your help!

Do you have a link to your page? When installing the latest dev from the FAQ link make sure you delete the old plugin folder. Please take a look at the FAQ and 1) see if you at least have the stage code in your HTML source and 2) check the console for errors. That will give me a better clue of whats going on.

I’m getting two errors it seems:
“Uncaught TypeError: Property ‘undefined’ of object #<Object> is not a function” and “Uncaught TypeError: object is not a function.”

The stage code does show up. I deleted the old plugin folder and reinstalled. Still not seeing anything.

Ok – it’s working – I think totally deleting the old plugin folder was the thing that did it. Marking as resolved! THANKS!

I am having problems with my composition not showing up as well. I have followed all instructions listed, downloaded the dev version, etc. It looks like the preloader is not there. My site is below:

Hi,

please don’t post in an already closed issue. This doesn’t have anything todo with your problem. For some reason the full server path comes for your preload.js https://www.kristenthomasdesigns.com//home/kreative12/public_html/wp-content/uploads/edge_suite/project/animation_3/animation_edgePreload.js Can you check the settings for your upload folder in the setttings. And please open up a new issue.
