Im in the process of changing my web design. I have uploaded and installed composite I really like it but its messed a couple of things up and I can’t quite get my head around them… I was wondering if someone could help.

Basically the set up that I have is that I have a parent blog that is not normally visible, And two blog pages that are, the one page normally shows all posts posted to the category ‘reviews’ and the second posts everything from the category ‘news’

obviously, once changing themes I lost these features, but am unable to set them up again as for some reason my categories function is not working properly in this theme. when I search under categories… it simply wont find anything, hence I am unable to make a categories page.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

can I put a secondary blog in, and exclude posts somehow from both blogs

    or

Can I upload a plugin that allows me to assign categories, so that I can then create a categories page?

if you want to have a look:

any help would be much appreciated… im tearing my hair out with this and I don’t want to have to scrap the theme as I really like it.

Unfortunately, these forums only support themes from the repository on this site, so it’s unlikely we can help with a theme-specific issue. Have you asked the vendor/developer about this problem?

I did have a try, but the forum is only for those who have purchased the theme, not for those who have the free version. I may have a look at other themes that have a similar layout from wp thank you
