Composite Products Plugin: Shipping Error

I sell print on demand products through a supplier (Printful) that automatically integrates their shipping options with my store. This has worked great, but recently I purchased and installed the composite products plugin to combine my products together (t shirts and hoodies) for easier use by customers. When setting up the composite product, I selected the “shipped individually” option on each so that each product would retain their shipping options that were set by my supplier.
This worked and the shipping options successfully registered in the cart and the correct shipping options are available, but when attempting to checkout after providing payment information, customers are receiving the message “No shipping options are selected” even though the options are selected.
can someone help me with this? as of now I have my whole store switched over to composite products and my store will be offline until I can get this issue resolved.
here’s a product that’s having the issue. (all products build with the composite products plugin are also having this issue, but my standard variable products are still working)
