HI, I am trying to find a plugin that will allow me to

1 – build a composite product based on 5 variable products I already have defined &

2 – when choosing the variable options, I want to only show a subset of the variations on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc products depending upon the option chosen with the first variable product

Is there a plugin to do this?

  • Hi @nick5thgeneration

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you are looking for a plugin that is capable of creating composite product based on 5 variable products. Furthermore, you only want to show a subset of variations depending on the chosen variation, correct?

Checking our marketplace, I found the premium plugin Composite Products that lets you utilize existing products to create the most engaging product kits and configurable products.

Furthermore, it also provides a framework for implementing conditional logic based on product/variation selections: Scenarios. Scenarios make it possible to:

    • Hide individual Component Options (products and variations) conditionally.
    • Hide entire Components conditionally.
    • Modify the main product image in response to product/variation selections.
    • Trigger custom-coded actions while users choose products and variations.

Did you know that if you want to try our products, it comes with a 30-day refund policy? If the product doesn’t work the way you need it or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to offer a full refund. You can read more about our refund policy on our website here.

    Hope this helps!

HI, this plugin is Ok but it doesnt do exactly what we want it to do.

the problem is that the problem is that its only possible to hide component?& component options?based on production/variation selections made in preceding?components only.?

so for example I have two products that we are showing in our composite product:

    1 – Gate Hinges & 2 – door bolts

both of these products have two variations of a) finish (black, marine, galvanised) etc & B) size – 12″, 14″, 16″, 18″, 24″ etc

so for example if I choose a Marine finish Gate Hinge, then I want only show say the 18″ or 24″ size for the same gate Hinge.

you can restrict the options on the second product ie door bolts. But you cannot restrict the options on the second variation for the first product

Or can this be done another way?

    Hi,

    I understand your point.

Please note that this forum is related to WooCommerce Core, for questions related to Composite products I mean as pre-sales questions (to make sure the extension will work according to your needs), you can ask them here:
    https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/

You might need to create an account before.

Also, you can get in contact in touch with one of the customization experts listed on the WooCommerce Customizations Page; they will be happy to help:

    Hope this helps ??
