Compose message link not working

    Hello,

    We are having problem with the direct compose message link for any users.

    We have message icon in our profile cards, when a user clicks on the message icons it directly goes to compose message page with the particular user already selected.

    It’s not functioning anymore.

    We will like to have guidance on this issue and a possible way to solve it.

    I just found the same issue today and had to disable the plugin for the time being. I really like this plugin, though there are a few annoying smallish errors.

    for example a link like this is produced: members/testing2/messages/compose/?r=testuser&_wpnonce=xxxxxxx

    but the receiver is no longer getting populated. I’m assuming this has been an issue since I installed it. Though I just noticed it today.

    If you’re able to solve this for the previous poster and can post a code update, I’m happy to manually change my files until you have a proper release ready.
