Complications with CSS style and plugins

  • Hi, I’ve created a testsite which I use the CSS library of https://ianlunn.github.io/Hover/.
    The thing is, it works fine and I can use the whole library when I’m running it on localhost, but as soon as I upload it to cpanel it just won’t work. I have checked searchways a couple of times and as well relocated the stylesheet to more than one position so to be sure that the server can find it. Though it just won’t. Any ideas about a reason?

    Secondly, I’m trying to add lightbox/fancybox, a gallery. So far I have tried three different plugins which all of them are quite popular. None of them worked. I created a gallery, I activated the plugin, I also tried to add code inside the element to see if it would work, but it did not. The only thing it did was messing up my CSS so I had to redo a lot.
    Same here, any ideas why I can’t create an image gallery?

    I don’t know what happened, but hover works now… I copied and pasted hover CSS rules inside my stylesheet to see if it would work, it messed up all the structure so I deleted it right away from the stylesheet.
    And now the hover effects works… Please explain
