    Hi there!

Thanks for such a great plugin.

I’m using Complianz on a website and everything is working great. Except, the WordPress page where the shortcode is cannot be edited by non-admin users (which they need to do).

How can my Editor users access the WordPress privacy policy page?

    Thanks

    Hi @rd78,

You can determine whether your users are able to view and manage the Complianz settings (such as the plugin’s Dashboard and the Wizard) by granting the manage_privacy capability to those users/roles.

However: the capabilities that are required to edit the WordPress Privacy Policy page specifically, are not determined by Complianz.

If you wish to modify the capabilities that are required to edit the WordPress Privacy Policy page, I would recommend reviewing the below resource which contains further information on how to do so:

Thanks for your help. Apologies, you’re absolutely right. After investigating further, it turns out this wasn’t caused by Complianz.

I had set the Privacy Page in the WordPress “privacy” settings. It seems that WordPress then makes the privacy page only editable by administrators. Once I removed the page from the WordPress privacy settings, everything was fixed.

    Thanks for your help.
