Complianz. Not Responsive working.+ 2

Hi @emporiogroup1,

I would normally suggest some CSS to either make the text smaller or add a scroll bar at a certain height, but 6.0 will be live tomorrow and will feature a new banner structure. This will solve the issue.

We don’t have a direct integration with Matomo Tag Manager, but I will do my best to write an article tomorrow. I added a feature request; https://complianz.io/feature-requests/matomo-tag-manager/, somehow I never heard anyone about it, and now it seems to gain in popularity.

As far as I know, Thrive cookies/services are known. https://cookiedatabase.org/?s=thrive&lang=en.

So Complianz has no issues to work with Thrive?
– I also use Matomo Analytics. The scanner found and implemented it. So the script is blocked and I dont have to implement manually?

I’ve come across Complianz users using Thrive plugins without issues, though I’m not 100% sure whether these are the same as the ones you’ve listed. My recommendation would be to just implement the desired plugins and if any issues do arise, feel free to reach out and we’ll be more than glad to investigate.

1. Cookie Scan

– Last Cookie Scan shows cookies from “Usercentrics” but I deactivated and deleted these plugins. And I deleted the cache. How can I delete this in cookie list?

– I dont understand: Where can I see the used cookies. If I click on the Banner under “Functional, Statistics and Marketing” I cannnot see the scanned Cookies. (https://markschnyder.de/)

2. New Version Cookie Banner Design

– I chose Slider Design for Checkbox but it shows still Buttons

– Where do I set the font size and font style?? Where do I choose the new design?
Is there a short learning video available?`

As you’re using CookieYes again, it’s getting harder to get good results while switching between consent plugins.

You can do the following;

Enable Complianz in an incognito window and run the cookie scan a couple of times, proceed to the Cookiedatabase.org synchronization.

Now you will find cookie information in the wizard and on your cookie policy. Not on your banner.

For 2. This might be fixed with our update tomorrow.

For editing scripts, please let me know what you’d like to achieve so I can direct you to right manual.

Hi @aahulsebos. Yes, because of all the problems with the complianz plugin I had to switch temporarly

1. Still open question: How do I integrate results of scan in my banner? And in the relevant category? I need a guideline or video how to do it.
2. I want to add Thrive Architect, Google recaptcha. Matomo (when not done automatically by plugin). How do I integrate in the different catgories? (Marketing, essentials, statistics)

Hi @emporiogroup1,

This should be done all automatically if the specific services are on your website.

I would suggest adding Complianz at the end of development, this way the cookie scan will find the correct services will sync with cookiedabase.org to categorize the cookies and YouTube will be blocked automatically.

Configuring Complianz before building your website has the effect that many automated processes, like comparing your cookie policy with your current services, and running the sync will keep repeating while your changing your website.

If you’re ready to go live with your website, rerun the wizard in incognito mode and it should all be done automatically. Any questions after, and we’re here to help.

1. Cookie Banner : Again: Matomo cookies cannot be seen under “Statistic” Category . I think you mentioned the plugin ist doing this automatically. Thats what I expected.

–) I need the guideline for implementing “Matomo” in the cookie Banner. So the customer can sse it under /Settings/ Statistik.
–) Must Google Recaptcha be seen in Cookie Banner also?

2. Cookie Banner is still not Responsive.

3. Footer of Cookie Banner: I have 2X “Datenschutz” and 1x ” Impressum” . –) Where can I adjust this ?

You can send the email to support(at)complianz.io. For the others;

1. If the banner says Statistics, this includes Matomo. If you want to change the text you can.
2. You don’t need to show the services on the banner, only the categories and a link to all cookie descriptions and service, they should be available on your cookie policy.
3. Under Wizard – Documents, you probably have the same page linked twice.
4. This I have to see live, as it is probably CSS.

To 3. : I added for impressum und privacy policy my links and its shown like this in banner: “Datenschutzerkl?rung/markschnyder.de gesamt” und
“Impressum/ gesamt” –) I want it like that “Datenschutzerkl?rung” and “Impressum”. How can I give the links another name?

Font Size. We have never had this option, and let the theme take over. Some CSS can make the difference:

#2. This can be set even smaller. We had an issue with a javascript that adjusts the banner based on the buttons. This is fixed now and you can reset the banner without issues to the width you like. 569px does well.

#3. The titles on the banner are grabbed from the page title. This can also be seen here; https://markschnyder.de/datenschutzerklaerung/. Changing this will change the document titles on the banner.

#4. Heard this before, so we are having a look and will be fixed soon.
