We use a LiteSpeed Cache server. When we run content crawlers to generate the full site cache, the Complianz plugin prevents the appropriate cache from being delivered for each new request to any URL. We have attempted to defer and delay the loading of the involved JS files, but this has not resolved the issue. We would like to know if there is any configuration aspect that could solve this problem before considering switching to another plugin that does not interfere in this way.

    Thank you very much.

    Hello @ginavicente ,

Thank you for reaching out. Usually, Complianz and caching plugins like LiteSpeed don’t work well together when caching the whole page. If delaying and deferring the JS didn’t work, please try excluding the entire plugin, and in the process, also exclude the CSS content.

Please let me know how it goes. I remain at your disposal.

From the beginning, all Complianz resources have been excluded from deferred or delayed loading. Not working. I have seen in the .htaccess:

    ###marker LOGIN COOKIE start ###
    #RewriteRule .? – [E=”Cache-Vary:cmplz_banner-status”]
    ###marker LOGIN COOKIE end

Since I have commented on that rule and it is not active, it is able to use the cache normally. I’ve been inspecting the code to see how this affects the consent banner and to see if it actually saves the user’s choice. At first it seems to work correctly.

In any case, it does not seem normal to me that a tool like this can cause such a big problem in the loading flow, causing unacceptable loading times.

    Hello @ginavicente ,

Thank you for letting us know. As mentioned, our plugin does not work well with some plugins, especially LiteSpeed and its functionalities. The only crawler that will for sure work is Google’s.
Thanks for bringing this particular issue to our attention.

I hope this thread can help other users as well.
