Complianz is not blocking the cookies

I see this in the code: ‘anonymizeIp’: true, which means analytics will be set before consent, as is allowed by the GDPR.

For Yandex cookies, you can start by adding https://mc.yandex.ru/metrika/watch.js to the script center, in the snippet box for script URL’s.

Yes, I see that too. But how can I know that those cookies are really been blocking by Complianz.

You can start by checking the current situation.

1. Open your website in incognito and check if cookies are set. For example in Chrome this is done by clicking the lock in front of your URL – > Cookies.

2. Set the URL in the snippet box, and check again to see if the cookies are gone.

I’m working with chrome, I verified and the cookies for example the google analytics add the personlized ID for the cliente for example ga.00000.12345 before accept the cookies. I appreciate if you could share a video.

I reload the page as a new user; then proceed to see if Google Analytics is loaded and if it has IP addresses anonymized. It does.

Now it’s allowed by GDPR to set before consent.

Could you add https://mc.yandex.ru/metrika/watch.js to the Script Center in the snippet box for URL’s of scripts that need to be blocked?

This should remove Yandex before consent.

Hi @crauser,

To block the script, please exclude this script from autoptimize. Otherwise it will be concatenated in a generic .js file, and the watch.js cannot be blocked separately anymore.

When it’s excluded, the urls of this file should show up in the html of your site.

Then Complianz should be able to block it.
