Hi, in several projects i’m working on Complianz finds _ga (Google Analytics). All Websites are using Elementor, mostly with OceanWP theme, one uses another theme.
But I don’t use google Analytics, there are no google Analytics cookies (checking with browser), no connections to google (checking with Privacy Badger browser addon), and no “google” in source code.
    What can be the reason?

    Hi @virtualant,

Is it possible you used Google Analytics on the site in the past? If you clear your browser cache, delete the cookie and Google Analytics in the services list, then scan again, do you still get the _ga cookie?

Thank you for your fast answer, and yes, I didn’t think about this. I do my websites on subdomains from my main websites. Main browser is Firefox for WP-admin.
So I tested with google Chrome: first deleted all coookies of main domain and subdomains, logged in with Chrome, deleted the cookies in Complianz and made a rescan: there is no more _ga ?? WOW…. I now know how to do it.

    Thanx!
