    Complianz suddenly will not work with Google Tag Manager, just this morning. It is configured within Complianz and has worked perfexctly for the past 3-years. Google Ads detects a code error, 404, and will not enable ads with that URL as a destination. So, it is stopping our Google Ads campaigns.

    Here is the script that is generating the 404 error picked up by Google:

    <!–

    <!-- Statistics script Complianz GDPR/CCPA -->
    					<script type="text/javascript" class="cmplz-stats">(function(w,d,s,l,i){w[l]=w[l]||[];w[l].push({'gtm.start':
            new Date().getTime(),event:'gtm.js'});var f=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0],
        j=d.createElement(s),dl=l!='dataLayer'?'&l='+l:'';j.async=true;j.src=
        'https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtm.js?id='+i+dl;f.parentNode.insertBefore(j,f);
    })(window,document,'script','dataLayer','UA-40373448-1');</script>
    <script type="text/javascript">

    –>

    Please advise on this script and the 404 error. I have checked all Google tags in the Analytics dashboard and site coding for correctness. This appears to be generated by Complianz.

    Hi @blaircomm,

    In the code I see a UA code, not a GTM code. Could you check in the wizard, under Cookies – Statistics Configuration if you can change it to a GTM code?

    Hi @blaircomm,

    Any updates? Does it work when you enter the GTM code instead of UA, as Aert suggested?

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
