Complex search filtering

    I need to be able to have complex filtering where users can select different options to filter displayed list results, eg:

    Show users who only have:
    Blonde/black/red hair (+other options)
    Are from London/birmingham/edinburgh (+other locations)
    Have a car/bike/motorbike (+other options)

    …Etc. Several more attributes like that. So there would be multiple possible filter chains needing to be applied. I saw your chaining filters comments but it would be very impossibly lengthy to create hundreds of separate list pages for every connotation eg ‘black hair+london+car’ etc.

    So is there something I havent seen that would allow me to do this?
    Having this ability is critical to me using the plug-in.

    Ah, this question looks familiar…as I mentioned, this requires a developer to write a custom search function.

    xnau, I need this exact same functionality. Is this something that I could hire you to do?

    I’m not taking any side work at this time. Any skilled WP developer should be able to handle this, there is an API that gives you easy access to the filtering functions.

    Looks like we can’t get complex search and filtering anytime soon. I really wanted to work with this plugin but need this feature and couldn’t find any way to make it work.

    Finely I’ve found this https://formidablepro.com. it’s not free ($50.) but gives me all the search features I need.

    I’ll keep you all posted about my progress with it.
